NICOLE LAROCQUE:

FOUNDER, BOARD OF DIRECTORS, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER - SHE/HER

Nicole is an experienced and caring clinical social worker and psychotherapist with a keen intuition and capacity to listen, connect, strategize and team build. She owns a private psychotherapy practice where she provides a safe therapeutic environment for clients undergoing major life transitions.

Social justice is at the core of her work. Her education and advocacy in transgender care began when her child expressed gender dysphoria eight years ago. More recently, as anti-trans bills grew, Nicole increased her engagement within the transgender community as a volunteer on the Yes On 3 Campaign and other public advocacy roles and continues to provide psychotherapy to transgender clients.

Nicole helped found RIGT because she sees the organization and its mission as an opportunity to have a greater impact on the health equity of transgender and gender diverse people.

She graduated with a Masters of Clinical Social Work degree from Boston College and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the College of Saint Rose where she is in the Athletics Hall of Fame (Women’s Basketball).
